The Entrepreneur vs. Manager vs. Technician that live within you
Interesting concept I heard about in a book ‘The E-Myth revisited’, where it explains the different personalities within yourself that you struggle with. The Entrepreneur is future thinking, Manager lives in the past, and Technician is in the present. Depending on where you have more emphasis makes the outcome more like that type of person.
The other concept was the Fat man vs the Thin man. When the Thin man wins, you eat right, exercise, and loose weight and get healthier. As soon as your results stop or not progressing, the Fat man comes back. Then it doesn’t matter because it doesn’t matter you are the same, and back to the old way of working.
Need to figure out where you want to go, and train the other personalities to move that direction. If they drag their feet too much, the leader isn’t strong enough to move them.
